Indian wife and her baby daughter burned to death by husband as the mother breastfed her little girl because he wanted a son. Annu Devi, 22, burned to death while breastfeeding her daughter Husband. Gunjan Masat poured fuel over the pair before lighting it.
Masat then allegedly moved the still-living Devi close to a fire to make it look like she had accidentally set herself on fire. Mother and baby were discovered the next morning with 90 per cent burns. They were taken to hospital but were pronounced dead on arrival. Devis father claims in-laws became angry when she gave birth to a girl.
